Maine & NH Wedding Photographer // Taryn & Leah's Wolf Cove Inn Wedding
Some weddings just feel exactly right. That was Taryn and Leah’s day at Wolf Cove Inn. Every piece of it felt like it was meant to be. These two started their forever on the shores of Tripp Pond, which couldn’t have been more fitting considering their proposal story.
Taryn and Leah actually proposed to each other on Sebago Lake, at Taryn’s family’s lake house. Picture this: dock at sunset, family and friends watching, two heartfelt proposals back-to-back, and then an epic jump into the lake to seal the deal. Honestly? That’s the kind of story rom-coms wish they had. So, of course, it only made sense for them to come full circle and get married lakeside in Maine.
The morning of the wedding was relaxed and full of laughter. The girls got ready together in the inn’s suite, hanging out side by side while hair and makeup worked their magic. But they still wanted that surprise moment, so they kept their dresses hidden until the ceremony. The first time they saw each other fully ready was at the end of the aisle and let me tell you, that hit everyone right in the feels.
Their ceremony was short, sweet, and perfectly them. Officiated by a close friend, it had just the right balance of love, laughter, and a few happy tears. They had one big wedding party, which made the whole vibe feel like a huge celebration from the start.
Afterward, we headed into portraits, and these two are just pure joy to photograph. They wandered among the pine trees, danced barefoot on the beach, and couldn’t stop laughing together. We wrapped things up on you guessed it, the dock, bringing their love story full circle.
The reception kicked off under the tent with big cheers and even bigger smiles. Their first dance was followed by the sweetest parent dances, with each of them sharing moments with their moms and dads. The room was packed with love, support, and so much happiness for Taryn and Leah.
It was one of those weddings that just felt beautiful from start to finish—not just because of the view (though Wolf Cove Inn is stunning), but because of the love these two share and the people who surrounded them.
Taryn and Leah, your day was perfect. Thank you for letting me capture it.
