Maine + NH Wedding Photographer | Allie + Brian | Engagement Session at Wolfe’s Neck State Park

You know those couples that just get each other right from the start? Yeah, that’s Allie and Brian. These two met on a blind date thanks to mutual friends and apparently, it went really well because that “quick coffee” turned into a four-hour hangout. That’s when you know it’s good.

Fast-forward a bit, and these two already knew what they wanted… each other. Allie picked out the ring (because she’s got great taste), Brian paid (because he’s smart), and one night while hanging with their friends—the same crew who introduced them—he dropped to one knee right there in the kitchen. No big production, just real, honest love surrounded by their people.

When we met up at Wolfe’s Neck State Park for their engagement session, the vibe was peak fall. The foliage was hanging on just enough to give us some killer color. We started in the open field where they laughed, spun around, and nailed those carefree piggyback shots like pros.

Then it was off to the ocean. The rocks, the sand, the salty breeze—it was all working in our favor. They walked hand-in-hand down the beach, totally in their own world, while I just followed along capturing it all.

We hit the bridge, played around in the woods, and wrapped things up with a bottle of champagne on the beach. The pop didn’t exactly go as planned (let’s just say the cork had other ideas), but it made for a hilarious moment and some of my favorite shots of the day.

Allie and Brian’s session was easy, laid-back, and full of genuine laughs—the kind of shoot that reminds me why I love what I do. Wolfe’s Neck brought the views, but these two brought the vibes.
