Maine & NH Wedding Photographer | Brittany & Dan's Wedding at Outlook Farm, So Berwick, Maine
Alright, round two at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm, because apparently December was like, let’s just keep getting married here. And honestly? Zero complaints.
Brittany and Dan tied the knot one week after Morgan and Chris, so yep—Christmas was still going strong. When I rolled up to the barn to unload my gear, the tree was lit up and glowing like it knew it was about to be photographed again. Cozy, festive, understood the assignment.
Once my gear was set, I headed over to the Inn where Brittany and Dan were getting ready with their two young boys—and this is where things really split into two very different energy levels.
The girls were getting their makeup done, and it was quiet. Calm. Peaceful. Soft music, hushed voices, total zen. Hair and makeup artists doing their thing while everyone just… existed peacefully.
And then there was Dan.
Dan was getting ready with the boys, and it was absolute chaos in the best way. Watching him try to get dressed while wrangling two kids was comedy gold. Socks were a situation. Buttons were negotiated. Somehow, though, they all pulled it together—and honestly, the boys crushed it. Tiny gentlemen, 10/10.
Back to the girls, Brittany was ready to get into her dress. Two of her bridesmaids helped her, and once she was zipped in, it was go time. She looked stunning—effortless, calm, and totally present, which is always my favorite combo.
We headed back to the venue, and when I arrived the tablescapes were almost fully set. I jumped right into photographing details while everything was still untouched and perfect. The couple arrived shortly after with their families, and we rolled straight into formals and wedding party photos like pros.
As the sun started to dip, Brittany and Dan stepped out for their couple portraits, and the light? Absolute showoff behavior. Golden, soft, and flattering in that “December somehow understood the vibe” way.
Then it was inside for the ceremony—and this one was even shorter than the week before. Five minutes. No fluff. Straight to the point. Honestly iconic.
After the ceremony, Brittany and Dan shared their first dance, and right at the end, their oldest son joined them on the dance floor. It was adorable, emotional, and one of those moments that makes everyone smile without even realizing it.
Then the dance floor officially opened, and things turned super fun real fast. Laughter, movement, good energy everywhere—just a solid, joyful night celebrating a family that clearly loves the hell out of each other.
Another winter wedding, another Christmas-covered barn, another reminder that short ceremonies, cozy vibes, and kids stealing the spotlight are always a win.
